Chapbooks: Spoken Words

The direction of this assignment was to design and produce a 5.5” x 8.5” type-dominant modern “chap book.” It must be bound in some fashion and contain between 12 and 24 pages + cover.
For this project I wanted to do poems that have influence my 20 years of living and why it influenced me. I have always enjoyed reading poems especially from Maya Angelo, Nelson Mandela and more and listening to TED talk poetry throughout highschool and I wanted to incoorporate that in my project. Some poems in this chapbook will be life lessons or things that really stuck with me throughout the years.
